"There is a season, turn, turn, turn..."

Autumn continued, and so did the SWEET weather. We were able spend so much time outside, even with a newborn. It was fabulous. Lily has become quite the bottle feeder, so we really don't have much to do anymore...
Look carefully- can you find something lurking in the brush?
That is a hot dog in the garden. Lily insisted on being one for Halloween months in advance. What to do about baby sister though?

One Saturday morning we were "just chillin", while Bjorn got ready to go to a Gopher game at the new stadium. He scored 2 sweet tickets and was having trouble finding someone around, so...
we packed up the kiddies and 45 minutes later we were gazing down at the Golden Gopher field! The girls had a blast. It was a beautiful fall day to take in their first college football game!
Dada and Lily taking it all in.
Aza did amazing! Who would have thought a 6 week old could do so well?
Our sweet girls, sisters, and maybe future Gophers?
Bjorn has planted several trees and shrubs around our house, including this flaming Maple. He also planted lilies the year Lily was born and an azalea bush this fall. : )
The fall colors can't be beat.
Aza in the sink/bath, looking very much like her mama 32 years ago.
Content is the best word to describe this girl.
Look at that!
Hmmmm... deep thoughts by Azalea June
A little glimpse of her strawberry hair.
Halloween! Lily had a fun party at preschool and we were able to celebrate the holiday on several occasions this year.
Minnie and Tinkerbell at McKenna's 3rd birthday party!
Little pumpkin on her 1st Halloween
The whole meal- the cousins went as grapes, Lily as the hot dog and Aza was a banana split.
This was just a small dog costume. I don't think Aza minded.
Papa and Lily!
(Papa is wearing the clown nose he wore at my 4th birthday party)
Always kisses for little sister!
I love the proud look on Lily's face in this picture. "Yup- this here is my sister!" As Azalea reaches right back.
Lily decided we should be the condiments.
The pumpkins this year were in honor of the girls' costumes. Here they are after too much time in sun.

Aza always sleeps with her hand up and fingers out.
Lily decided her and Aza should rock some cool shades!
I kind of thought they looked like Elton John.
What you talkin' about Willis?

Fairies regularly visit our house- how about yours?
This little fairy is always smiling!
And growing up too fast!
2 months already!! And also growing so fast!

Big sister getting in on the shot.
An early snow came this year and Lily loved it! We woke up to a true winter wonderland.
Snow!

Lily can't wait to play with her sister in the snow next year!

"I think I'm gonna like it here!"

And then there were two!! Two fabulous little girls that we couldn't love anymore! It was the perfect autumn- 2 sweet daughters, amazing weather, lots of fun, and maternity leave didn't hurt either. We were able to do so much together as we started to get to know our little Azalea June.
Aza's 1st trip to the zoo!
Fall fun at Gerten's garden!

Lily and Brooke in the hay maze!

Azalea's 1st Twin Cities marathon, Lily's 4th.
We got to eat breakfast, cheer and even bounce right on the Parkway at casa de' Jeff!
(Jennifer B. and Aza cheering at mile 7ish)
Lily has always had a thing for holding ears and Azalea's is quickly becoming one of her favs.
Bright eyes is growing SO FAST!
BIG yawn!
Sweet smile!
Sweet little chicken! (We love her SO!)
1st "big girl" bath
1 month old and loving life!
We were able to visit good ole' Seaver's corn maze of fun together with Papa and Auntie Erin. Nothing beats the giant corn pool!
Dada and Lily swimming around.
Maybe the giant slide beats the corn pool.
(Could Lily look any happier?!)
The Knudson family, just chillin' in the corn.
It has been so much fun watching Lily love her little sister so very much!
Sisters!
We also made it down to Emma Krumbee's one afternoon. Since no one was performing, Lily put on a little show for us- song and dance girl.
It was another beautiful autumn day together.
And Lily ended it with the biggest lollipop ever.
(Wish we had the after shot of the mutilated sucker and STICKY hair and face!)
Aza is getting to know Steggie just like Lily did!
How can you not fall in love with a face like this?
And the fun continues...
